1. What is DiolazeXL Max?
DiolazeXL Max (by InMode) is an FDA-cleared, high-power diode laser system that uses dual wavelengths (e.g., Alexandrite 755 nm and Nd:YAG 1064 nm) to target hair follicles precisely and remove unwanted hair safely and effectively
2. How does it work?
The laser beam is absorbed by melanin in the hair follicle, heating and disabling it at the root. Once destroyed, follicles can’t regrow hair. Multiple treatments cover all growth cycles
3. Is it safe for all skin types?
Yes. The dual-wavelength system—Alexandrite for lighter skin and Nd:YAG for darker skin—along with its sapphire-tipped cooling mechanism, makes DiolazeXL Max safe and effective across Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI
4. Does it hurt?

5. How many sessions are needed?
The recommended number is around 4-10 sessions, depending on the treatment area as well as your hair thickness in that treatment area. For example, patients who have lighter, fine hair will require more sessions.
The interval of sessions depends on your hair cycle – we need to make sure you’ve grown hair in the treated area by the next session. For the face, we will usually have a 4-5 week interval per session for the first 3 sessions, and 8 weeks apart thereafter. For the body, we will usually have a 6-8 week interval per session for the first 3 sessions, and 10-12 weeks apart thereafter.
6. How long does each session take?
Treatment time varies with treatment area: small areas (upper lip, underarms) take just a few minutes, while larger ones (back, legs) may require 20–30 minutes, thanks to the large spot size
7. What are the side effects and downtime?

Before treatment:
• Shave the area 1–2 days prior.
• Avoid sun exposure, tanning (including fake tan), retinoids, and exfoliants for at least 2 weeks.

• Use gentle cleanser and sunscreen.
• Avoid waxing, plucking, or shaving for a few days.
• Refrain from sun exposure and heat (tanning beds, saunas) until redness subsides
12. Can I wear my makeup after the treatment?
